I recently discovered the site of an old WW2 anti-aircraft battery in Portbury, near where I live in Portishead. I got in touch with the owner who kindly agreed to let me in to film. I found out a lot about the history of the site and really enjoyed exploring the area.

I was also given access to a few photos of the site when it was in use and so decided to make a short film giving a little insight into the history of the battery.

Sadly in recent years the site has been vandalised and as it's privately owned, the owner likes to - understandably - keep the place as secret and locked up as possible. If you know where this is, keep it to yourself :)

This is another of my 'one day' projects, where I filmed it in the morning, editing and motion graphics in the evening.
